Diamond Lake Resort
Diamond Lake Resort, home of Cat Ski Mt Bailey, is a full service, year round family destination resort. The resort features lodging in both motel rooms and two bedroom guest cabins. We have 2 restaurants, a pizza parlor, 2 stores, a full service marina with boat and water sports rentals, Mt bike rentals. Fishing, hiking, mt biking, visiting Crater Lake National Park, and touring the Rogue/Umpqua Senic Byway are favorite visitor activities. …more
Trout Fishing
Diamond Lake has long been famous as a recreational trout fishery. During the last 10 years Diamond Lake's water quality and fishery have experienced a steady decline because of an illegal introduction of trash fish. This September 2006, Diamond Lake will be treated to remove these distructive fish and restore the water qualilty, eco system, and recreational fishery. Diamond Lake Resort expects business as usual this summer even with the lake being 8 feet low in preparation for treatment.
Mountain Biking
Diamond Lake has an easy 12 mile paved bike path around it. The trail features many rest spots with vistas of the surrounding snow capped mountains. Its a great way to spend a family afternoon. If you are looking for more adventurious riding there are miles of single trac trails, ranging from moderate to expert, and old mountain logging roads to explore.
