About Ski Oregon

Ski Oregon Vision

Ski Oregon will provide coordinated leadership in the development and marketing of snowsports and recreation. Outdoor recreation is an important part of the Oregon life style and an increasingly popular attraction to visitors from outside the state. Snow sports provide a unique and enjoyable way to experience and appreciate the Oregon environment. Helping to protect and enhance the pristine qualities of the Oregon environment and share the enjoyment of skiing are primary Ski Oregon objectives. Ski Oregon members work together to develop and sustain the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction at ski attractions, ski equipment sales, manufacturing establishments and other skier supported services (i. e. lodging, summer ski and snowboard camps, traveler services, food service, etc..) throughout the state. Leadership

Ski Oregon is controlled by a Board of Directors. There are 16 seats on the Board, with a pre-designated number to represent the various facets of the industry. Eight seats are held by ski areas, and eight seats are held by non-ski area businesses, such as retail shops and lodging partners. The Board is voted in each year by the membership at the annual meeting.
