Spring Pass Value

By Ski Oregon | on March 11, 2014
News

February storms around the state helped replenish less than average snowpack and secure a solid spring skiing and snowboarding season. Resorts statewide have announced their spring passes and end of season value deals! Whether you are hoping to get a few more days on snow or venture up to the mountains for the first time, Ski Oregon has some great news to share – spring passes are amazing value for a season that still two months left!

In Central Oregon, Hoodoo and Mt. Bachelor make spring skiing worth all the effort. Great conditions well into May and often the post shred BBQ scene at the base or the parking lot – these resorts offer a true western mountain experience. Mt. Bachelor, who plans on lifts running until May 25, is offering a 96-hour sale on their Springtacular pass starting 12:00pm Thursday, March 13. Adult pass are $149 ranging down to a $99 youth and senior pass. Hoodoo Resort, your family friendly mountain, offers a $195 Hoodoo Anycard pass good for five days. This pass is transferable and can be used by more than one individual! Thrifty Thursday tickets at $19 are also excellent value.

Willamette Pass, offering over 555 acres of beginner, intermediate (45% of terrain) and advanced terrain is open Wednesday – Sunday. Ski Oregon recommends the spring value of the Five Day Superpass, which is less than the price of four day tickets!

Spring on Mt. Hood brings a mix of snow and bluebird days where snow sliders feel like they can touch the peak of Mt. Hood – truly spectacular. Ski Bowl, the closest resort for Portland road warriors, offers days and nights worth of value for their $99 spring pass. Lifts are scheduled to operate until April 13. Mt. Hood Meadows is offering a “Rest of the Season” pass, $139 for adults or $99 for ages 7-22. Lifts are scheduled to operate through April 27, then at least the first two weekends in May. Don’t miss the infamous spring parks and perfect groomers at Timberline Resort, where lifts are scheduled to operate until May 26. Paying for itself in just two days on snow, the $99 Spring Pass is a value option.

Anthony Lakes in eastern Oregon has had snow filled season. With consistent storms throughout the winter, resort and cat skiing operations have been delighting locals and travelers with powder turns and a lively après scene. Don’t miss Anthony Lakes half price tickets on Thursday. Anthony Lakes recently announced pass prices for 2014/2015 would be frozen for a fourth year in a row. Passes are on sale now.
