Ullr the mythical Norse God of Winter has been known to respond to sacrifice of wood Norwegian made skis by bringing an early, and strong winter of good snow to those who believe. At UllrFest in Eugene again this year we will enjoy live music presented by the Slocum Center. Ninkasi Brewing will host the event on their beautiful outdoor patio. Dress accordingly! That means Viking helmet, leather, fur and a vicious grin. In true Viking fashion - ladies, less is more. Enter the UllrFest Viking Princess competition where contestants are expected to be on their best misbehavior. A silent auction will add to the fundraising benefit for local our local ski club Willamette Alpine Race Program and regional winter sports athletes via the Pacific Northwest Ski Education Foundation.
